The wedding will be held at Hacienda San Andrés, located just outside of Mexico City. There are hotels near the venue; however, if you’d like to combine your stay with an experience of Mexico City, we recommend three other areas: Polanco, Roma Norte/Condesa, or the historic city center, Zocalo.
Uber is highly recommended for travel, as it is very affordable and easier than the subway. Safety is of no concern in these areas. Just like in any other big city, there are areas to avoid, but the places listed are very family friendly.
JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City Polanco

Our group received a fixed price of $298.75 USD per night, including tax. We have a reservation for January 31st to February 2nd 2025. It is an open reservation, so rooms are not guaranteed. The sooner you reserve the better. Our reservation is under Sam and Alondra's Wedding.
Please make reservations for the specified dates first. If you wish to book more nights, please notify the hotel at this email address: Alfredo.Campostun@marriott.com, and provide the reservation code U1EUF1P.
The hotel is a 20 min drive to the wedding venue, an hour with traffic.
The wealthiest area of the city. Plenty of high end shopping and fine dining. Also, very close to the venue.
W México City - A couple blocks from the main avenue in Polanco. Right across central park, with the castle, El Castillo de Chapultapec.
InterContinental Presidente - Same location as the W, a bit higher end.
Residence L'Heritage Royal Colonial By BlueBay - More budget friendly. Right in central Polanco.
Our favorite area of the city. This trendy, up-beat neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. We recommend looking at Airbnb's along Ámsterdam Ave, circling Parque México. Very affordable.
Hotel Parque México Boutique - Right in the heart of Roma/Condesa. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. More budget friendly.
Andaz México City Condesa - A couple blocks from Parque México. Higher end option.
Sofitel México City Reforma - Right on the edge of Roma Norte, but very central to all areas of the city. Pricier option, but amazing views and restaurant.
Mexico City’s grand plaza featuring it's cathedral and parliament buildings. It is a must see for first time tourists. Multiple nice hotels in the area, one of which was featured in a James Bond movie. It can be a be chaotic with crowds but it is a budget friendly location.
Gran Hotel Ciudad de México - Lobby pictured above. A beautiful historic hotel. Located right on the plaza, with a scenic restaurant on top. Featured in James Bond.
Hotel Zocalo Central - Right next to the Cathedral. High end hotel with an amazing restaurant on top.
Downtown México Hotel - Beautiful boutique hotel, a block away from the plaza. Very nice restaurant below (we've eaten there twice), and a pool/bar on the rooftop. Has nice boutique shops on the second floor, selling handmade goods.
For the easiest, low stress travel to and from the venue, we recommend staying in this location. There isn't much to the immediate area, but is also welcoming. Some suggested hotels are:
Courtyard Mexico City Toreo, by Marriott - Nicest hotel in the area, still budget friendly. Long walk or short Uber to the venue.
Holiday Inn Express Mexico - Toreo, an IHG Hotel - Walking distance to venue.
Hotel Valle de México Toreo - Few blocks away.
